A Very Silly Summer Slam! Family- friendly puppet shows for the park. In the park we celebrate the sun, the fun, the whimsy of summer. Old and new object-performers: bring your no-tech, your large scale, your wind resistant, and your participatory pieces! Do you have a puppet that's been begging to parade? A flag wishing to fly!?! This is the show for you! Come play in the park with us :)

What we’re looking for: We prioritize performances and acts that challenge theatrical norms and our understanding of objects and inanimacy, as well as projects and people telling stories pertinent to, and underrepresented in, today’s political and social climate. For this particular outdoor show, we're looking for low-tech, nature-ready, engaging experiments and short-form pieces —performances ranging from 3-7 minutes with minimal setup. All performers are paid a modest honorarium and will be provided with a free snacks in the park.
